His demeanor and facial expression would be the same if benched. His productivity would improve if benched.

I would assume that once Bama is up 30 on us next week, that we might see another QB.
No running game. Stupid special teams play. I wish it were as simple as changing QB's.

Yup. We've had tons of mistakes from young guys all night tonight. Lets bench our four year quarterback for a guy that's never had meaningful game experience, averages 5.5 yards per play, has a 50% completion percentage, OR a true freshman who didn't have a normal fall camp experience. Sounds like a recipe for success in the SEC!
The highlight of his career is still when he fumbled the snap, sacked himself, and threw an int all on the same play.
This team and offense is extremely average. So is Mond. We need him to make up for everything and he can't. As average as he is, our online and running game is worse. We are having to play a converted slot receiver at rb. The WR aren't much better. They are more likely to drop a pass rather than catch it make a guy miss and take it to the house. When they do catch it, they are allergic to a YAC.

Special teams has been the absolute worse but i feel that's an easy fix. These young guys of ST are trying to do too much and should stick to the basics

yeah really takes some guts. He brought in two transfers to play ahead of the guy he ultimately started. The dude who started today had a tumor removed last year and missed the whole season. Really took guts to bench him. Definitely the exact same circumstances as benching a four year starter.northeastag said:

Fisher hitched his horse to Mond and is paid A Lot of $$ to recruit and prepare players to play better than Mond has played for the past 3 years.
My sentiments exactly. I was hoping he would have time to iron some kinks out and get into a rhythm with the young receivers, but he is hearing footsteps. The LT is absolutely horrible. I have been watching him let D lineman run around him his entire career. I was also hoping our Center situation would be at least a slight upgrade. I like the fact that they moved Green to LG to compensate for the LT. He almost helped out Moore on the fumble, but not quite. A Smith is my only hope at this point, but he made some stupid Special Teams bonehead decisions.
