Lincoln national forest. My wife's family used to have a reunion and one year, my brother in laws, their cousins and a few others went up in the mountains with sling shots, a few hundred rounds of paint balls and our masks and went up to play sling shot paint ball. It hurt like hell, but we all had a great time running up and down the mountain shooting each other.

Inks Lake State Park. My uncle owned and operated the park store before the state took it over. We would go to the park and help my cousin catch bait for the store and I was always paid with candy and a Big Red.

Loved using the soda can a little fishing line and a hook to catch perch. I would drop the line between the wood slates on the dock. It was just wife enough to allow the perch to pass.
