That's certainly good for us, though it doesn't mean Bama is going to suddenly stop having the biggest baddest players out of high school now.

They are saying it's a good thing. Too many injuries and team not as tough at LOS last couple years.

Management lesson of the day. You have to do everything possible to keep the the top contributors of your organization engaged. Saban could have had Cochran transition out and train his replacement as he transitioned on field in 2020. Nope. Now he has to replace one of the most important, well-liked, and longest tenured staffers.

This is a pretty big loss for Saban. Say what you want but these things take their toll over time.

The constant revolving door at coordinator spots is what takes a toll. Losing a S&C coach? Not so much.
The key to having a great looking S&C program is to recruit a bunch of studs out of high school and Saban will do that with or without this guy.
Empires start to crumble slowly and then it happens all at once!
