Ags played against 17 first rounders ...

We may have had our asses kicked, but they were kicked by really good players!

I would never do the research but this brings up an interesting point. I wonder what the record is for a team playing the most first round draft picks in a season.

I honestly think that after Burrow, and maybe chase young, Derrick Brown is the best player in the draft.

Nothing for nothing but mock drafts have to be one of the dumbest things ever done and followed in sports. Completely worthless.

So much better than getting occasionally beat by "Murderer's Row".

I thought I once read Mel Kiper was sued by a player who left college early because Kiper predicted he'd be drafted in the first round and he instead went undrafted, but couldn't find such a story.

I did find a story from the 90's, though, where a BYU QB left college early in part because Mel Kiper said he would be a top-5 pick and he Instead fell to the seventh round.

They traded two first round picks for Laremy Tunsil...they don't have a pick in the first round until 2022

I told the doubters that Madabuike was a lock to go in the first 2 rounds!

I will admit it that I really thought he was going in the 3rd round.

Is he wrong if he doesn't get the exact draft number for a player correct (which is basically a crap shoot) or is he wrong if he gets the entire round wrong for a player?

Either way I'm sure he's wrong more often than not...

You people are lucky Mel Kiper even puts these out. He could be at home, teasing his ridiculously good looking hair. Leave Mel alone!

Justin leg whips Bobby Brown with a 300lbs human.

Also we are going to be very good at LB next year if everyone can stay healthy.

I think the two QBs should be the top picks in the draft.

The Redskins don't have a great QB. I guess they don't remember when the Texans went 2-14 with no QB and an amazing season by JJ Watt. IMO, an elite QB is everything in the NFL and if you don't have one you should do whatever it takes to get one. If Tua is healthy he is worth risking a #2 pick on.

I quit reading at Mel Kiper. I remember several years ago seeing him at the combine looking over at Todd McShays notes when he thought no one was looking.

One would think that the fact that LSU and Bama are both projected to have 5 or more 1st rounder's should bowed well for us next year!

Other than the fact that most of them will be replaced by future 1st round draft picks!

If you notice, Miami has 3 - 1st rounder's.

You can call that the Joe Burrow effect.

There's a reason he's going number 1 at the most impactful position on the field.

Seattle, when they're not busy stealing the A&M "12 Man," has always had great success drafting Texas A&M players and this list doesn't include Johnny Holland. I expect Seattle will do it again this year:

  • Sam Adams, DL (1994-99)
  • Michael Bennett, DL (2013- )
  • Rocky Bernard, DL (2002-08)
  • Red Bryant, DL (2008- )
  • Jacob Green, DL (1980-92)
  • Jerrod Johnson, QB (2013)
  • James McKeehan, TE (1995)
  • Christine Michael, RB (2013- )

Where is Germain Ifedi? Seahwaks drafted him in the 1st round in 2016 and he's been starting since the 4th game of his rookie season, though he may levae via free agency this year.

That list wouldn't include Johnny Holland because he was drafted by Green Bay.
