Plays both offense and defense. Reminds me of a player TCU would recruit. As a preferred walk on it doesn't get much better than this

I'm not overly impressive and hope he works hard to get gametime reps
I bet he'll see this. Youre good but youll need to work out about 150% harder than guys that are slacking and I pray that you do!

I remember his brother Matthew Merrick. He was a preferred walk-on in Austin and just transferred to UVA.
According to numbers, kid had 163 tackles as a senior. Yes, he can in fact play LB.

1. 6'2" Height - YES!
2. 220 lbs - YES!....Plus A&M strength and Conditioning program! -MORE YES!
3. Kid can run! Not sure about his 40 time but his effort is great!
4. Has a nose for the ball. -YES!
5. Private School Kid so he knows how to work hard and is getting into school with no problem.- YES!
6. A&M has nothing to lose. - YES!

Good luck kid! Give'em hell.
Looks like he is on the basketball team so he has some athleticism. Will never complain about someone making 160+ tackles in a season becoming a walk on candidate.

He looks like he can move pretty good. Give him a few years of weights and conditioning and see what happens.
