to clean up a few things...

Coryatt sat out his freshman and sophomore years. First took the field in 1990.

Buckley sat out his freshman season.

Tannehill and Holdman both redshirted.

Dante Hall...he may have been a 3-star. Also did not finish 4 years. Played 3 1/2...if everyone remembers the situation

Jason Glenn would fit the criteria. So would Terrence Kiel.

neither redshirted and both played all 4 years and then to the NFL

as an aside...this thread provides some insight into why the decade of the 00's was the programs worst since the 1960's.

can't find many Fran or Sherman players that meet the criteria

Being on campus from 00-08 definitely sounds depressing when you point that out...

Good thing there's a lot more to it than watching our football team get progressively worse over close to a decade. Good times, good times...

It's going to be very rare to find a five star who fits that criteria. A five star who comes in, plays as a freshman, and lives up to his ranking will not stay all four years. Living up to your five star ranking and staying for your senior year are almost mutually exclusive. Jake Matthews is the one exception I can think of.

LOL, Emory Bellard's '73 class had several that met those criteria.

Armani Watts, Safety
High 4-star, Top-200 recruit in 247 composite in HS class 2014
Played as a fish (even started some games) and all 4 years of eligibility at A&M (2014-2017)
Just got a super bowl ring with Kansas City Chiefs

What prize do I get for nailing the OP's question?
Looks like you get 12 blue stars

+ 1 from me for 13.

Don't spend them all in one place.

Von Miller

I guess it depends on which ranking but I thought Von was a 3 star - 247 composite

I remember him being a 4 star on rivals. I've met him, Ty, and Kirk

What could have been with Jason Glenn. If I remember right, didn't get to finish his senior year because he tore his ACL. Wasn't that against OK when they won the national championship? He was the heart of that defense.

Christine Michael played well in a couple games in the NFL.

Cocaine got in the way for Darren Lewis and his solid talent (what a shame too...very nice guy in college that was approachable as a normal joe). Think he's in prison now for a few reasons, but recall Madden loving the way he played one MNF game with his shake-n-bake moves. JFF could learn a lot from seeing what happened to him.

Greg Hill (aka "GHT" for Greg Hill Time) was spectacular in college and think decent in the NFL (just don't recall if he played all 4 yrs).

Rodney Thomas all time fav, but shared the rock too much w GHT.

off topic, but '83 Ag is correct about seeing Coryatt in that Cotton Bowl...fastest LB I've seen in person and closing in for that safety was unbelievable.

Sam Adams was a hell of college player and pro. too...

2nd fastest for this Aggie. Lester Hayes played LB his first to years! I remember him intercepting a Baylor pitchout and taking it 90 yards!
