I think this is a situation where we don't need a "rent-a-coach" from another SEC power who's gonna stay here a year and get promoted somewhere else. We need a young guy who's going to come here and stick around. The ineptitude by Graham has left the roster so bare that we need a new coach who can stay here and build 3-5 year relationships.

holding out waiting for Evans might be the worst recruiting decision we've made in the past 20 years. Thank god Jimbo makes up for his mistakes with the rest of the class

Kenni Burns from University of Minnesota. He was part of the excellent coaching staff that turned the gophers into the number 10 team in the country. Imagine what he will do with our caliber players?Their running backs totaled 2,323 rushing yards this past season.

I said it on the other thread, but Gary Brown would be awesome. Who knows if he could recruit, but the apparent relationship skills he has would certainly help.
RB coach must be a proven recruiter. Let some BDF program experiment with promoting a HS coach.

He has a great story going from UFA to pro-bowl. But in the past 3 years, Wiscy has recruited:

He has never coached for a SEC program. He did coach in the NFL for a few years. I would prefer someone who has recruited more in the south.

I know it'd be cool/funny if we poached UGA's RB coach, but UGA will throw whatever amount of money it takes to keep their RB coach. There is no way they let optics like that happen.
Welp....after a bit more research, it seems to be the UGA women's basketball team.... maybe McGee will sneak on the plane....

No need. We need established proven recruiters in this role that can go national.
I'll do it. I coached Varsity running backs 1 season.
Someone who won't bail after a year or two.
