Sat front row at Maydelle High School gymnasium to see him when I was about 9-10 years old. He came straight out to where we were seated and gave my momma a big hug. Absolute gentleman and a fine Christian man.

I was in a flight once, when he came walking down the aisle from first class. He was the friendliness guy you could ever imagine. He was backslapping everyone and howling stories as he shook hands with everyone.
