Can anyone with better internet searching skills than I find a picture of the Kyle Field north horseshoe prior to the Zone Club construction? I have a piece of it from the demolition during my days as a student and am wanting to put together a display of it with a picture. TIA!

Wow. This is close to the laziest ask I've ever seen on TexAgs.
A VERY simple Google search gives lots of results.

Walking through that tunnel with the torches burning and the drums deafening, into the roar of Kyle Field for midnight yell, is one of the most awesome experiences of my time at Texas A&M.
Looks like the 1980's. I can see the ramps that were installed for the 3rd deck in 1979. The complete lack of fans in the horse shoe looks like the pre Jackie Sherrill era. Speaking from experience, those horse shoe seats were horrible. Too far away the the field to see much and too low to see plays develop.

Last experienced my fish year. It was pretty awesome.
Outdoor pool was great to do laps in. It also hosted the swim portion of the Texas State Triathlon in the spring of '88. Fun times.
I use to attend swim meets all the time as a young age-group swimmer in the 80s. It was in pretty rough shape then...lots of plaster missing and you were often pushing off jagged concrete. I'd walk up the ramps of the horseshoe to peer in and think how awesome Kyle looked.
They demolished it and the indoor pool my freshman year (95) just before the Rec Center was built. Maybe the outdoor pool was already gone by then...don't quite recall. But I do remember taking a KINE class at that indoor pool and it was pretty nasty.

I'm getting senile already. Yeah, I forgot they closed it after the 97 season. Anyhow, I remember going through it pretty well.
Was an awesome experience. I wish they could have saved that.
