Just heard from a very close friend (not an Ag grad but an Ag at heart) who was hit by the tornado, that a bunch of Aggies, dozens of them, headed up to help him out today. Lot of bonfire folks, from his description.

Way to represent! And thanks again.

I posted here because the bonfire forum is kind of slow and wanted to express our thanks.

Lots of dorm crews, and several of the off campus folks in bonfire went out.

Those kids know how to bust their ass and get things done.

Yes they do! Tell them a big kiss from the O'l Dame for helping our close friend out. The Hubs was out there within a few hours of the hit and spent all day Sunday out there with his tractor removing the huge tree stumps but he had some work to do here at the ranch too and came back home to attend to our damage. (House not involved.)

So appreciative other Ags stepped up and did the do.

And if I ever have a need for you guys, (God forbid) I'll be calling. We were lucky, as the tornado sideswiped us instead T-boned us.

Still good bull! Makes me proud that I made the right decision to attend Texas A&M back in the 70s.
