I think maybe I didn't get my point across. I don't think we will be outbid. If he is doing well and we want Jimbo to stick around we will be willing to pay that in 2 years. If LSU offered that right now I am sure we would let him walk. He is no Saban...maybe not yet.

Coach Fisher is going nowhere but Texas A&M.
Jimbo knows, regardless of the money thrown at him, that he found the diamond in the ruff when he came here. No program anywhere has more potential or can offer more than A&M.
lsu can't hold a candle to what we have..not now not ever.
Fishers best chance for another NC is right here...and he knows it.
So rest Army.

This is just a case of BAS. Coach Jimbo Fisher just beat LSU in an epic battle and in doing so established that A&M will not take a back seat to anyone. He's just starting to build something special here and has the resources and recruiting base to win several national championships at Texas A&M.

What ever happens between Fisher and Woodard is going to happen and there ain't one damned thing all these nervous nellies can do about it.

Except they had a $70+M contract agreed to in principal with boosters paying the bulk of it. The governor put pressure on the president to squash the deal because it was a bad look for the state.

We would be naive to believe the corn dogs do not have an equal number of big money guys as TAMU does.
