Sounds like a good fit. Everything I've ever read is he's an absolutely stand-up guy, if not the greatest pure football mind out there. He did great things making Rice as competitive as it was for a few years.

Good guy and coach. At Rice if you have a run of recruiting years , teams will be good, he had a nice run sandwiched between some terrible years. He will get kids to come to Commerce, where as Rice, has to reply on a crop now and then. In good old outlaw days, A&I and ETSU could have beat most of SWC except sips.
