LSU had 125 yards and 40 points in overtime, that's definitely a lot to skew the season average. Take away those yards or points and then where are we ranked?Emilio Fantastico said:
Because the format of the OT falsely biases scoring. It not like you actually have to move the ball to score in OT. LSU lost yardage in one of those and still scored.
Plus, I was surprised to not see us in the Top 50 because we were all year before that game.

And the highest ranked was Army whose total defense stats are severely biased by the fact they eat up the clock to shorten the game.
Does anyone seriously think Army is the 11th best defense in the country???
