Oh it's easily CFB for me. Just wondering if that's universal.

You are asking a college football board whether they prefer college or professional football?

College football and it isn't even close

This. I could watch college all day from when Gameday starts to the Pac12 games at night. For the NFL, unless it's the playoffs/Super Bowl, I only watch the Cowboys. I don't care about watching the other games.
College! NFL is boring.Brian Earl Spilner said:

I have zero emotional connection to any NFL teams. So much so that it's hard to relate to people who are hardcore fans.

I have a hard time watching NFL and avoided it entirely this past year and so far all of this season.
It hasn't hurt. NFL just doesn't have the passion and glory involved in college ball, nor does it have that wildcard feel where anything can happen.
I'm not gonna say it's as bad as watching golf, but it's not inspiring to me at all. CFB all day, every day.
This is true to an extent...PlanetAggie said:Hardcore NFL Fans = their city is their identity.JCRiley09 said:

Hardcore College Fans = The College they chose is who they are.
That's a great point, and I completely agree... but for me, it's because I care about how all of those moving parts might effect the end game for my favorite college team. Because strength of schedule matters, in a Kevin Bacon way, every game matters.Drum5343 said:This is true to an extent...PlanetAggie said:Hardcore NFL Fans = their city is their identity.JCRiley09 said:

But I still enjoy watching random college teams much more than I enjoy watching random pro teams. I would rather watch two college teams I have no connection to than two pro teams I have no connection to.
That's all true. But still, I would sit down and watch a completely inconsequential Rutgers vs North Texas game long before I'd sit down and watch some regular season NFL game. But I'm weird like that haha.PlanetAggie said:That's a great point, and I completely agree... but for me, it's because I care about how all of those moving parts might effect the end game for my favorite college team. But for those people that chose not to go to college, their city (or their parent's city) seems to be the team of choice to follow.
And, in the NFL, you can lose 5 games (or more) and still find your way into the playoffs, or even win a Super Bowl. Impossible in college.
