Neither. Haven't worn a watch since 1981. Watching the clock is stressful and unproductive. And I'm not into jewelry, except for my Aggie ring
Such a weird post. Cool?fireinthehole said:

Normative statements are unproductive and make you sound pedantic and judgmental.

My Dad's 1952 Rolex Datejust--on an aftermarket bracelet. Purchased at the PX at Camp Bussac, France in 1952 for a grand total of $153! Almost one month's pay for a 2LT at that time ($237.00).
He gave it to me just before he died in a non-running state. I sent it off for a "spa treatment" with a guy in NY City (Rolex won't wouldn't work on one that old). Runs/looks great now. I really like the less "blingy" designs and prize it highly.
