I don't know about that but my daughter worked in the coaches office for two years and did most of his work during that time. She always said he wa a really nice guy.

Ferguson was the best. After years and years of 3 yards in a cloud of dust we had some excitement in the offense.

Robert Lee Jackson was a helluva middle linebacker on the '75 and '76 teams.

Started at Navarro JC and made All Conference as a Junior here and All American as a senior.

Albert Connel, Robert Ferguson, Jamaar Taylor, and oh yeah Josh Reynolds! 3 very good WR transfers. All made it to the NFL. Ferguson caught everything.

Nope. Ferguson had 800 something yards his lone season, which was the Aggie season record.

Zach Morris from Saved by the Bell was rumored to transfer in in the mid 90s when I was there. Has to be up there.

Also I don't remember if Smash Williams made it to A&M or not straight from the Dillon Panthers, or he had to transfer in.

Offensive Lineman Britt Lively transferred to ACU, was first team All-Lonestar Confrence, a Division II first team All-American and signed with the St Louis Rams. He was a hell of guy.

Now he's owner at MBL Metals LLC dba AMC Solutions and Grant Fasteners Inc. in Bryan-College Station.

So he turned out all right.
