I like Conner a lot...but he might be in for a little shock as far as criticism and expectations in coaching out on his own outside of the love we have for him here at A&M. That being said I hope he turns into an incredible coach and he wins us a Natty in 20 years as our head coach.

Some ga's want to start and stay in high school while other plan to stay at college level. Obviously, one has to have a teaching degree.

No, he had several assistant stops on the way. Last at Texas as some sort of co-OC before Herman hired him.

Great move to UCLA. We all, including myself, are down on Sumlin but Conner will grab an assistant job pretty quick somewhere with being a GA under Sumlin and Kelly.

Bob McQueen was a hell of a coach and a great guy. I lived in Temple 84-85-86-87 and got to know Mr. McQueen real well. Upstanding guy, took care of his kids and raised them well as they progressed through his program.
