This season has absolutely been a clown show as far as our BMA and leadership have been concerned. From Woodward publicly setting a bar for his subordinate, to Buzzbee being drunk on social media, to the constant leaks about what other coaches we are going after for the last year and a half, to finally leaking that we are planning on firing a coach no matter how he performs this week.

Our school is run by toddlers.

I take it back. Toddlers are cute.

I'm not sure that names were really being leaked. 99% of it is zoo animals making stuff up and the mob jumping on board and making it facts. Agree on the other stuff though.

I don't know what you do to stop rumors from coming out. Especially when many had no truth behind them. If you truly take an objective look, you'll see that what we have here is no different than every other hot seat situation.

Surprisingly similar to Washington. The majority of US citizens agree that our country isn't being run efficiently by the people in charge.

Sorry, I'm gearing up for political debates over thanksgiving dinner.

Meh, all boards at every institution have dudes/chicks with big egos that publicly have to flex their muscles. We just don't know about the majority of them because we don't care.

If Buzbee is our Red McCombs then I don't mind. People are always going to talk about something anyway.

More evidence that the old saying, "aggie jokes write themselves" still exists! Cannot even dismiss a coach in the 'right way'.

OP: disagree. Some of the people running things erred (i.e., Buzbee), but most have not.

What Woodward said was fine.

not that big of a deal and the 'news' from yesterday wasn't exactly breaking news. Everyone knew Sumlin's job was in the air and one game wasn't, and shouldn't, change that.

Winning is the only cure for a crapstorm.

Woodward's actions were sharp, but necessary for the situation. The majority of his fanbase was reasonably discontent about the lack of accountability for Sumlin.

So yes, Woodward put the fanbase before the coach. But the coach deserved it, or at least the majority of us believe he did.

The real mistake was the mega-extension given to Sumlin. Sumlin's agent f---ed us rotten, and we bent over and took it like a beey-tch.

Woodward looks like the solution, or the closest to one. The problem was the old AD who played step-n-fetchit for the bigs, then complained after the fact that he had no power.

The moral of the story is f--- Sumlin, f--- his domestic problems, f-- his feelings! He is getting paid $10 million to eat our sh--.

Neither the agent nor Sumlin screwed us.

That was done solely by the BCA that agreed to put up the money.

We all knew it was probably coming, but what yesterday's news really tells us is that our athletic dept. is still not run by the AD. If our AD had full control to run the Dept., he wouldn't have had to say anything to anyone until it was officially announced.

So we know 2 things: That outsiders are still more involved in our athletic dept. than our coaches, and that at least one of the outsiders involved is dumb enough to have run straight to the media without even waiting for the coaches to be informed of their employment status.

Those are strongly indicative of the same issues that have plagued our athletic dept. for decades, and it is disappointing to see.

Probably should have just made the move before the season or at the end of last year. If that's the case. He wasn't going to win 10 or 11 games with a redshirt freshman (Starkel) or true freshman (Mond).

Do you remember 2013 and the drama around Mack Brown? Mack Brown taking to the airwaves to beg for his job and dare any of his "good friends" to take his job away from him by even talking with anyone associated with tu? Remember how that played out? Both Dodds and Mack were fired months later.

We aren't in clown show territory just yet. If we whiff on our top target then, yeah start the circus music.

Never said we are in clown show territory. Just because we aren't as bad as Texas, doesn't mean we don't have issues of our own.

I am sorry to say that we have sprung a new leak within the administration that sends information to the news Media, that in turn keeps things stirred up. Reminds me of Bill Byrne Keeping Kirk bohls abreast about Our move to the SEC. everyone just needs to calm down. The letter and the resulting playing of the race card sealed the deal on the Sumlin era. Bad move on someone's part. Losing to UCLA in the fashion that we did didn't help either. And what good is keeping him for one more year is going to do. Just another year on the hot seat.

1) As it relates to the football program, System Regents are nothing but fans. Although Sharp believes otherwise, Buzbee is no more in charge of the A&M football program than he is the SFA football program

2) I'm convinced at least half of the name "leaks" are either website owners making up **** to get subscriptions or "insiders" making up **** to try to sound important
