Should know on Monday 9/25. They usually announce game times for the next week around noon.

LSU v Florida likely the 2:30 spot. If we beat Arky should be 6 PM Bama game. If we lose we'll probably be in the 11 AM slot.

every season since we've joined the SEC, our game against Bama has been the 2:30 CBS game.
If we beat Arkansas, I expect that to continue this season

I'm thinking we may get the 2:30 slot. If we beat Arkansas (and that's an enormous IF with this coaching staff), our game will look much better than a UF/LSU matchup. Especially after UK beats UF this weekend.

Doubt CBS turns down showing the #1 team and Kyle field.

Plus they need a good game to put against Fla St and Miami

it'll be a better game than the zero offense game that will be UF/LSU .... most likely 10-6 final due to field goals and a defensive touchdown

2 of their home games last year were at 11 AM.

National champ Clemson played their 1st home game this year and 2 home games last year at 11 AM.

Against Kent State this year and South Carolina St. and North Carolina St. last year. Only NC State was even remotely surprising.

TV has 11AM slots to fill. They don't look at it like we do. Ohio State kicks off at 11 today.

I don't think we kick at 11 but it doesn't work like people here think.

sometimes there are multiple 11 am slots to fill and A&M does not seem to get the same level of consideration that some other SEC schools get.

LSU and UF could both be ranked and be a competitive game no matter how low scoring it is.

A&M and Alabama will not be competitive.

this one is going to be close.

Alabama is the #1 team in the country and a great TV draw.

this is probably the only chance for A&M to be the 2:30 game this season

Why would we want to do that?

I absolutely guarantee you that we have been bigger underdogs in past games than we will be.

We may have even won games in which we were bigger betting line underdogs. Auburn in 2014 comes to mind. We were 24-point underdogs.
