K9s4COPs is a local non profit that is dedicated to building a safer future by placing K9 Officers in communities and schools.

The mission of K9s4COPs is to ensure that every law enforcement officer in need of a K9 has one at their side, well trained and ready for action. A trained K9 can cost between $10,000 to $45,000 depending on the K9s training. With budgets being cut across the country many law enforcement department struggle with the cost and training for a K9 Officer.

K9s4COPs has gifted 160 K9s in 38 states. These K9s4COPs K9s are responsible for removing $200,000,000.00 in contraband from the streets!

Texas A&M was the proud recipient of two K9s last fall, K9 Tyson and K9 Jackie.

Here's how you can help! K9s4COPs is hosting a fundraiser on Friday September 15th, 7:30 PM @ Rudder Theatre featuring Chad Prather and Steve "Mudflap" McGrew Friends in Safe Spaces Comedy Show.
Tickets can be purchased at Box Office at TAMU or K9s4cops.org
