Me too. Still recovering from the Sherman years.


The passing game was a huge part of Sherman's offense, so when our receivers started dropping passes in the 2nd half, the offense ground to a halt.

We're whooping UCLA so badly in the trenches that we aren't even bothering to pass. And Far from beginning to stop it, things are getting worse for them.

hopefully starkel can show a little bit of accuracy. both QBs have been a little lacking in that part. it'll be harder to run like this in the SEC

Unless our OL and defensive front 7 spent halftime drinking, we're fine. 4 score comebacks are basically impossible when the mismatches in the trenches are this pronounced.

Not at all the same sort of dominance. We've had a few big plays, but for the most part we're winning by physically beating them down play after play. I mean we're not even bothering to pass the ball because we're dominating them so thoroughly. This is what an Alabama win looks like.

Plus, not even Sherman choked away a 28 point lead. I think 18 was his largest.

Hold on now...lets not get ahead of ourselves.


Not saying we're in Alabama's neighborhood, but merely that this is how they beat teams down. The OL attacks and the RBs continue hitting defenders and getting 2-3 yards after contact, and by the 3rd quarter the defense is mailing it in. It's a psychological thing.

Makes sense to me. Although that first series seems to be counter to that point.
