Will we be ranked top 15?

Depends on how the team looks while doing it.

I really doubt we'll be ranked this year until the very end, if at all.

Without a preseason ranking or any ranked opponents before Bama we're going to be buried.

Man, how some folks can even watch football is beyond me. It must really be a miserable experience to go through every season with the attitude that the only team in the country that ever could possibly get worse in talent, depth, coaching, etc. is the Aggies.

You seem unduly riled up. You've really read a lot into a very brief comment.

I don't follow UCLA football, so I make no supposition in their regard. I don't follow anybody for that matter, but the Ags, because we have that in common. The game itself--even our team--is nothing more than entertainment that holds no real significance in my life.

Therefore, I can state with no affect--I don't think we will do well this year (based on a simple assessment of the loss of some extremely talented defensive players and instability at qb)--and go about my merry day.

And, if I'm wrong--I will still go about my merry day.

Which begs the question--which of us is more likely to be miserable when the Ags lose?

I know it may be BAS but I look at it like we start each year 0-2. Really we have already lost to Bama (we don't have JFF) and LSU.

We are #30 in the preseason ESPN poll and will likely be similar when AP comes out.

We will be top 15 if we start 4-0 and will be top 10 if we are 5-0 headed into Bama.

The sports world needs us to be 5-0 and ranked when Bama rolls into town. Then, if we lose, Bama gets a "quality win" vs. a ranked opponent. Doesn't matter what our rank is if we beat Bama, anyone who beats Bama will always be the lucky underdog.

I learned years ago to not let the outcome of a game or season have any measurable impact on my life. Sorry to dissapoint you.

I also learned to look at more than a single side of things before going about life with doom and gloom and make predictions with BAS leading the charge. But that is just me, i recognoze that the Aggies are not the only team on the country that lose players or have question marks in positions. You dont, cool I guess.
