I'm on campus right now and I'm going to figure out how to post a pic of the hotel they're building next to the MSC.

2) plenty of lobby space which is nice for hanging out and such
3) seems as though there's an area on the 3rd or 4th floor that's a rooftop gathering area.
4) I am not an architect
5) I will get many rooms there if I get a raise next week and if I do I'll have a party there and y'all can come.

What is rate per night? Can you buy?

I was told the rooms won't be nearly as clean and kept up starting in November

Good question. So there's the part that goes into the sky up to like 12 stories.
Then there's another part, like the base of the capital letter "L" that only goes up 3 or 4 stories.
That's where I imagine a lot of cool people will be.

Will there be dancing allowed in the pool?

Will the rooms be about 6ft x 6ft like the last hotel?

Hoping it has a sports bar with lots of tvs for gameday.

Do you think there will be individuals in swim attire on the deck on gameday? Perhaps we should look into making some kind of prohibition against it.

I would hate to see certain kinds of people making a show of themselves during our gameday experience. Highly inappropriate.

Really glad they moved disability and other student services way out to the periphery of campus so they could build a hotel near Kyle.

Me too! The additional revenue brought in by guests on game day, grants from top notch faculty they recruit using the hotel, and by leasing out space for events will be a boost to the university and may help out some of those programs such as the students with disabilities.

That will be a very good location.

That's a very worthwhile point which I will accept, however it doesn't change the experience of the students who currently need easy access to those services.

Disability Services was moved to a couple of temporary/trailer structure...with a rickety wooden ramp that can't be ADA compliant.


It's disgraceful.
