A little misleading. Talks about not allowing those convicted of, or pleading no contest to, a felony. Not saying I think they don't have good intentions and it's not a good effort to do the right thing. But, technically, Joe Mixon could have still been admitted, as could probably most of the Baylor players. A step in the right direction, but a little bit of window dressing too.

Joe Mixon entered an Alford Plea, admitting the evidence would likely lead to a conviction without technically admitting guilt.

It's a cloudy area and not clear how he'd be treated under the rule.

The fact that this warrants an article, and posting on a message board speaks volumes.

We have created a monster.

Correction. We have allowed monsters to represent us playing a sport.

And we assign the highest value to the guy recruiting the monsters. Sad state of affairs.
