Bill Snyder is quite possibly the best pure football coach of my lifetime. He may not be the master politician, recruiter, and whatever else he would have to be to have such a long career at a blueblood school, but I'll be damned if he can't take the players available to him and turn them into a football team that is vastly more than the sum of its parts. Many times, he has turned them into a genuine force to be reckoned with, a team that could give anyone in the country a run for their money.
Plus he seems like one of the most genuinely good and kind people on the scene. College football as a whole would be, and some day will be, poorer without him.
Get well soon coach.
