he doesn't have to go to another school to improve his draft stock, and leaving would cause him to miss a year of play on the field, so why leave?

He doesn't care about UH or any other school. His vision (rightly) is the NFL. So you dont want to waste a year not getting better on the field.

Not true. He mostly went there because Herman hired his HS coach.
