His problem was never x's & o's. It was organization and dealing with university brass and influential boosters. You can bet he learned about that from Saban. I predict this will go down as a great hire. I wish we would have hired him.

UH is doing all the right things on thier end. Kiffin can recruit, & this a homerun hire for them imo. Im sure he's matured under Saban. But props to UH.

I think this will be good for UH. He will not get another major HC job right away considering he sucked at his last two, so he could be there for four or five years. He might even decide he likes it there.

Also, now LSU does not get him as an OC.

Kiffin will leave them high and dry, just like he did UT. By hiring him, UofH is essentially making it "ok" to bring him in. If he does well, then a power five school will bring him in within 2 years. He's a scumbag.

I did think Kiffin would end up at Houston instead of being OC at LSU. But I have no idea who he poaches to fill out his staff.

No. Did a terrible job at USC.

And then was tutored and educated under the greatest college football coach of all time. I'd take him in a heartbeat over what we have now.
