Hoza,:

Played his first game in like 3yrs for Eastern Arizona College. In his first game he made 6 tackles and 3 assists in a 35-0 win. (8/27)

He didn't play in the next game. (9/3)

He still is a huge A&M fan per his twitter. It will be interesting if he sticks with it over the next year or two. Obviously the odds are totally against him, but always interesting when talking about a local (Houston) area kids with some much talent.

Derrick Griffin:

Still playing for Texas Southern. During his first game of the season, he caught 6 passes for 90yds and 1 TD. Texas Southern lost 25-29 to Prairie View A&M.

Hard to believe, but I'm pretty sure this is his first season to play since highschool. I remember he planned on going to Blinn (on multiple occasions), not sure how he ended up in Arizona.

That's not really a fair assessment, ultimately it's up to them to ensure they succeed but I'm sure they were passed a long because they were good at football, I know for a fact one of them was

Derick griffin will get a look in the NFL. Maybe even the NBA.

No idea about Hoza.

Are Claiborne and Golden still playing? I believe they both had good seasons last year.

From what I remember Golden and Clairborne are both serving sentences for armed robbery.

Also despite talent, Hoza Scott had some major off field red flags including grades.

Claiborne is not currently listed on TSU's roster.

Golden served 3 months jail time on a 10-year sentence. He was recently given an early release. One condition of his release was to provide testimony against Claiborne. I believe that he's scheduled to be back with McNeese State this season. Dude already has 3 kids now.
