For the TN game 10/8, I'm looking at sections 125, 126, 127 because I want to be near the students with a chance of being able to stand up and participate in the yells. Don't need a lazy boy chair; bench is fine. The West side of the stadium is first class, but so are the prices. 125-127 aren't cheap either, but if I'm going to pay $$ then I might as well have some fun. I also don't want to be sittin' with a bunch of Vols either. I wouldn't mind going up a tier, but don't want the nose bleed. I haven't been back to BCS since 1989 and I want to do this right. Just hoping for some good opinions before I pull the trigger for these unbelievable prices for these tix. Thanks!
We have seats in 125 down low on row 9 and love them. You're close enough to hear the coaches yell at their players and you can hear the band from there. We stand about 80% as much as the students do and you have good concessions and very good wi-fi (usually). Those seats are brutal during September (and some October) day games though as the sun beats down on you the whole game.
If you're not too concerned about where you exactly sit and are concerned about the money then my advice is to wait to buy your seats the week of the game. If you go the flash seats route you might want to wait until the day of.
I know for last year's South Carolina game great seats were dirt cheap on game day as bad weather was expected (it didn't materialize if I am remembering my game weeks correctly).
