Remember guys, the fact that there is AT LEAST 5 defensive players in the SEC that are more deserving of the recognition doesnt mean anything. The fact that he plays for the golden domers and has a sad story makes him muucchhh better in areas that stats dont show

You can only know and feel the transcendency live, but we need to take it on faith that transcending stats is Heisman trophy worthy. This can be a new revolution in the game of football where heart warming stories can overcome results! Shouldn't that be the goal of football?

This is sad.The market is already oversaturated with him and his story.They will not get the boost they are looking for because there is nothing new. With Johnny there was still much to learn about him and the press was craving his personal time. What they got was a genuine Texan athlete not a ESPN invented Heisman candidate.

This is so sad and desperate. My guess is he comes out with some sort of emotional speech, he will cry, the media will eat it up and he will gain some votes.

Nevermind the fact that Manziel has almost as many touchdowns as he has solo tackles.
