I have noticed a number of tickets that have seats on the 'student side' of Kyle Field (e.g. Section 144, 245, etc.). When I was a student at A&M the policy was that you had to have a student id to sit in those seats. As an Alumni should I be cautious about getting seats in that area? Can anyone clue me in here?

I had to sit in section 146 for the ULALA game because some of my friends came back to town and I couldn't find them any sports passes. It's not as loud as the rest of the student section and they sit down alot...

If you don't have a student id you have to have a sticker on the ticket. You can get these at the box office. They usually cost the face value of the ticket making them the same price as the regular tickets.

No, you do not have to have a sticker and no student ID.....they were sold as normal tickets....we bought them the morning of the game.

I have season tickets in 145 and met a couple of folks who bought 1 game tickets there... like the others said, it's not as loud or as roudy as the rest of the student section, it's nice. We typically stood up unless there was a timeout in the game.

My tickets are in section 143 - 9 seats off the 50 next to the band. The 12th Man Foundation has from the 50 to about the 20 and the rest of the lower deck is the opposing team. Believe it or not, these tickets require a lower contribution than the zone or some 3rd deck tickets on the west side!

Through 1975 the opposing team was given lower deck tickets from the 50yd line to the south end zone. In '76 tu gave us end zone seats in Memorial Stadium, we retaliated the next year and the opposing teams have gotten lousy tickets ever since. Recall that in the SWC days LARGE numbers of opposing students would attend the games - I really miss that...

I suppose that now, the current arrangement allows an "adult buffer" between the 12th man and the opposing students. At any rate, I love my seats and plan to keep them for my grandchildren!!

The 12th Man Found. now has season tickets in the first deck of the student side. It starts to the right of the band, if you are looking directly at the band. No, you do not need an ID. The only tickets where you need an ID say STUDENT TICKET on them. I have some for auction on eBay in section 144.

Here is your answer. Sections 144, 145, and 146 are season ticket sections. More specifically, they are usually sold in large seating blocks as "corporate" tickets. You do not need a student sticker.
