If you have a Blackberry you can easily vote 1000 times in the 2 hours. First make sure you have unlimited msging. then compose the vote txt msg. you can send it to 10 recipients at once so keep hitting add recipient using the same 570? number then send it. once the first one has gone through spend about 5 minutes hitting the pearl it will open then resend it each time. SUPER EASY

When they started letting pros compete, I quit worrying about the "talent" contest part of it. It is a popularity contest. This year Jason is the closest to an amateur in the contest.

Nothing really new but it pertains to the forum so I thought I'd share...

will be cast. We're hoping Aggies will help boost his numbers. The event

When he makes it to Aggieland . . . I sure hope people come out for him. It worries me that school is out. They do this every year for the top three. I remember Katherine McPhee had a pitiful crowd at her high school and I figured she wasn't very well liked by the locals. Jason's fan base is enormous tho so people should come in from other areas. Sure hope so!

If the yell leaders weren't ridiculous enough these days.. How has their role changed so much? They used to be a tradition (only at specific events). Are people asking them to extend their role, or are they doing this themself? I personally don't respect our yell leaders like I wish I could. How can you respect their role (not being an aggie) and seeing them on American Idol, pumping up a crowd. I thought basketball games were a stretch, but appearing on American Idol makes them look like idiots.
Don't get me wrong, as an Aggie I'm proud of our traditions, but how are they traditions if we so willingly extend/alter them. The yell leaders shouldn't participate in things like this..
