Per a Facebook Event:

Jason Castro will be performing live on American Idol this Tuesday at 7:00. We have the chance from 8:00-10:00 to quite literally vote him straight back to College Station for a welcome home party. There are four contestants left, so if he makes it past Wednesday night, he is coming home! Even if you have never voted before, we are going to all have to pull together and vote for two hours to make this happen. If he gets enough support, then 30 million American Idol viewers will get to see what the Aggie Spirit is all about. We will have a HUGE party for Jason at 7:00 Thursday night on the front steps of the administration building. He will be singing a few songs from the top of the steps, so stick around a day after finals and let's give Jason an Aggie welcome! Please check back for more details about the event.

Make sure you wear your maroon!

American Idol ... as much as some people think they are too cool for it ... is a GREAT marketing tool for Texas A&M if we utilize this opportunity properly.
