Thought I'd start a new thread related to that one but with a twist:

Instead of travelling in time you can bring a person to this time period.

1) Who would it be?
2) Where would you take them (you can go anywhere, expense is no object)? And
3) What key question would you ask them to answer?

1. Grandparents.... both sets.
2. Their great grand kids and great great grand kids.
3. All of their life experiences (lots of WWII/military, genealogy, welding/metal work, carpentry) that I didn't know to ask about about before.

Damned... that makes me miss them.

1. I'd probably bring back Newton.
2. If money is no object then I'd take him to the moon.
3. After trying to explain some of the developments in science since his time I would ask him what he thinks of relativity, light, electricity.

Strangely I've actually thought about this before.
Give me the smartest people in history and just imagine what they could do today.
I also thought about if we brought forward someone from colonial times and showed them an average day in New York City for example - between the buildings, crowds, the technology, and most of all the multiculturalism. The reaction would be worth the price of admission.

Or, for my second option, Henry Ford. I'd like to put him in the drivers seat of my King Ranch F250 and turn the heated butt massager on to see his reaction.
