A family from church asked me to come help evaluate the 95 year old matriarchs household belongings because I dabble in selling a variety of collectibles. Among them she had a couple of pillow covers her husband bought her during the war. They were satin/nylon in feel and had logos from a couple places her husband was stationed. I'd never heard of them but apparently they were common souvenirs you could send home to your mom or wife. If you look them up on eBay they're really common and affordable. Some of the graphics are really detailed and elaborate.

There's one on there now from Camp Chaffee. If you ever went to JRTC back in the 90s and beyond,you'll recognize that one!

It's interesting to see the pillows from all the decommissioned cannons and units. It's worth a look of that sort of history interests you.
