I happened to catch this Russian movie on the plane yesterday (Air India had a limited movie selection).
Anyway, I had no clue about the fact that Jews were able to overthrow a concentration camp in Sobibor, Poland.

What's more interesting is that looking up the details on it, there was already an old Rutger Hauer movie about it.

IMDB for the 2018 Russian movie

IMDB for the 1987 Escape from Sobibor with Rutger Hauer

The credits at the end of the Russian movie were pretty interesting. They gave a follow up on what became of the people after the escape. In particular, they highlighted the fates of a couple of the Jews and the Nazis.

Here's a Wikipedia page that gives the outcome of the survivors.

Saw this listed on the Amazon movie selection last night. I'll check it out. Another good one is "The Grey Zone" about the Auschwitz sonderkommando uprising.
