What are your best tips for setting up a study plan for prelim exams. I was delayed in getting to take them this fall because of a pesky Spanish exam that I finally passed.

I am needing some help and direction in organizing a study plan around my job and family life. Organization is not my strong suit so any help here would be welcome.

Thanks

Arrange the books by subject and chronologically. Helps absorb the historiography better. Set up a schedule like a work schedule with 10 minute breaks every hour. Don't try to absorb every word of every book. Focus on the intro, the conclusion, and two-three book reviews of every book. Skim the rest. Take time at the end of the day to review your notes and see if you have any questions.
