How long do you want to ignore this user?
I am headed from Dallas to Georiga this weekend and am interested to see if anyone has any recommended stops of historical importance? I will go through Selma, Birmingham, Tuskegee, and Meridian, MS.

Any thoughts?

Montgomery has some interesting landmarks. The Dexter Avenue Church and the Rosa Parks museum might be worth a stop.

Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma. The jail house were King was held in Selma is still there too. Very surreal to see these places now after seeing them in photographs as the actual events took place.

Also they have all the campsites for the Selma to Montgomery marches marked on US 80 between Selma and Montgomery.
