The plastic bed in the dorm?

If you slept on a mattress in the dorms at Texas A&M, or any other state institution, they were made in Huntsville by prison labor.

Back when I was in the business, every summer, we would take the community service crew from the Hamilton Unit, to the campus at A&M. We would help the squads from Huntsville unload the trucks and haul them up to the rooms.

We replaced mattresses that were old enough for the then current crop of Aggies to have been conceived on them.....
