I've been trying to get my hands on a set of 1090 dumbbells and have been on the notification when available list since July. Are any of you in the same boat? Anyone received emails giving you the green light to order?

Not for the 1090, but about 3-4 weeks ago I got a notification for the 552's. Purchased and received in about 5 days.

Honestly I had been on the list since like early Summer
I had been checking academy.com pretty much every day looking to find a pair. I even selected the option to notify when in stock and it never did. I luckily checked online when they had a pair in stock and got it the next day in store pickup last week. These are great
I've been checking pretty regularly and see the 550s on there occasionally but not the ones that go up to 90. Which ones did you get?

Yeah I guess the availability might be better for 552s. Those are the ones I got. I've really been enjoying them.
I noticed these are widely available (in new condition) on Amazon.
The rack is also $20 cheaper than the Bowflex website.
Anyone have any experience buying these on Amazon? Delivery within 1-2 weeks depending on the seller.

Expect to pay at least 2x on Amazon for the 1090s vs what bowflex and academy are selling them for. The pair on boxflexs website is around $675. Amazon has singles for $700-900.
Several pairs of Bowflex 52lb max adjustables have been at the Garland Academy the last 2 times I've visited the last 3 weeks.

Randomly checked NFM in The Colony and they had 1090s In stock for $340 each. Just placed my order for pick up tomorrow.

Thinking of getting the 552's. I have found that are new in box from someone. How well are they built? Should I be concerned that I will not get the 2 year warrant with them? Not saving any money, just can get them now and not wait the 4 months to get them from Bowflex.
Pro's for me:
well built
easy to change weight
commercial quality and look
Cons for me:
pretty bulky even on a low weight selection
Would buy again though. Definitely worth it.

Found these on Facebook market place brand new in box. Paid $350 for them. Some guy never used them or opened the box. Might be the best purchase I've ever made.
