I've been using a nutritionist for the past 8 weeks. I'm actually eating more calories than ever and am still losing weight. My current target is almost 2300.

I tried that site and it seems incredibly high. It says I should be eating 3500 calories a day to maintain...no way! I was barely eating that much when I was training for an Ironman, I'd gain 2-3 pounds a week if I ate to that level.

The calculator on MyFitnessPal is decent. But keep in mind it's not just the calories - you need a healthy balance or Protein/Carbs/Fats as well. A nutritionist can help you define those macros based on age/fitness level/ activity level etc.

Also, keep in mind eating WAY below recommended calorie level is a recipe for disaster. Your body fights back as it thinks you're dying. And while you may have short term success, long term weight loss success comes from a modest calorie deficit, good macros, regular exercise, and a good sleep pattern.

It's hard for me to lose weight... I count calories and work out a lot, but it's hard to lose weight. What do you think about some pills for losing weight? Maybe you took some and can recommend something to me? That would be really good. I have found some on Canadian Pharmacy, for example, and I want to try them out. Thank you a lot for any input
