Would have just dropped this in the trail running thread, but its not getting a lot of traffic these days.

We go to this every year, and the films are always great. Its moving to a live streaming platform this year, for obvious reasons. Its on 5/1 and only $10. Below is a trailer for the film fest:

Thanks for the reminder.

At the Waldo 100k two years ago I ran a lot of miles with Austin Meyer and he had his camera out most of the time. He made a nice video about that race too. I didn't make the final cut though

Waldo looks awesome (brutal)!

Saw a James Varner cameo at the finish line! Fitting since James puts together the film festival.

Yeah, it's a cool race. My understanding is that it was created by Craig Thornley in 2002, and then when he became the RD for States he handed it over to James Varner and Rainshadow Running. Those guys know what they are doing. It's a very well-run event.

James is a good dude. I've met him a bunch of times, as he is friends with the founders of Spectrum.

FYI - if you can't watch tonight, content will be up for a week. So you can still view it even if you can't do the live show tonight.

Overall didn't feel like the quality of films was on par with previous years. the last two were pretty solid, but outside those, they didn't live up to what I'm use to. Still, worth the$10.

Poor James is definitely not tech savvy.
