If there are any health care professionals, would love to hear from you. Pretty sure I have a UTI. I'm a otherwise healthy 38 year old woman. Is it better to go ahead and get antibiotics or can I try to let it run it's course and just fight it on my own? Thoughts?

typically:
symptomatic UTIs are treated
asymptomatic UTIs are not treated

Ugh, good advice. Dr said she was glad I came in, there's blood in the urine and everything. My advice to the next gal would be go ahead and go in when the symptoms are rearing their ugly head.

Yeah, and if left untreated the infection can go into the kidneys... no bueno. Glad you went in!
