Didn't start diet until today since just now going back to work. Kicking off w/a 24 hour fast today (i.e. - I'll eat dinner tonight but didn't eat breakfast/lunch).

Got up to 240 during Christmas. Now down to 237.6. Spent last week with excruciating back spasms, so I did zero exercise minus stretching.

Got up to 267 when I got on the scale January 2nd. As of this morning I'm down 15lbs. Goal is 225

Was at 229 a few weeks ago and I can't remember when I was ever below 180. My goal for 2020 is to be below 180.

Goal 50 lbs
Down 10 so far this year, so at 219

Doing a Whole30 but will be transitioning into an Intermittent fast "healthy food" diet. 16 x 8 and maybe one or two day's a week where the calories are low.

Also got the Peloton Tread so goal here is to get back into running shape. Maybe a 10K or half marathon...

I also like that 100 push-ups challenge so that would be something I might pick up in the next month or two. Baby steps and not all at once.

Last week was a big downer for me so I have to keep reminding myself to focus on the big picture.

I exercised and was very strict on diet for the full week (weekend too).

I weighed during the week which I typically don't do and saw my weight dipping.

But, by the time I hit 'official' weekly weigh-in, I was flat. No loss at all.

Not at all what I expected and certainly a poor way to kick off the new year.

I'm in! Goal was to lose 10 pounds by Feb 23. (Flying to Disney World that morning)

Started the 21 Day Fix program last Monday, and plan on doing 2 complete rounds. Even if I don't hit the 10 pound goal, I'll have more muscle, definition, and endurance, which I'm ok with.

1/2/20 - 144.8
1/6/20 - 144.6 (official program start date date)
1/13/20 - 142.8 - down 2 pounds

My chest is really soar today.
But the good kind; where it feels like you're getting sexier.

I'm reaching the point now where my body is accepting this is how things are going to be from now on.

Squats still make me walk funny the next day, but it'll pass.

Moving over from the other thread..... I peaked after the above weigh in at 234.4 on January 2nd. Most recent weight last Thursday (1/16) was 229.2... so down 5.2 so far. I probably have a few more 'easy' pounds before it starts getting harder.
