Whole30 and Peloton, mainly Whole30, but man it's hard to recommend that program, it was brutal at first but it reset my habits in time for the quarantine.

Plateauing a bit more of late, I think because I'm hitting the bike so often and putting some muscle back on. Either that or I'm just naturally slowing down to a more reasonable weight loss pace.

I've also decided I want to go for it and lose an even 100 by the end of the year.

I started stress eating Wednesday because I was in a baaaaad place mentally. Like just total "**** this" mode. I was 199 even on Wednesday morning and was up to 203 on Sunday morning. I had myself back together and about 30 dumps later (exaggerating of course) I was 198.8 this morning. So, back on track lol.

Fought a plateau all week, I think the pace is definitely slowing down, which is fine, hitting the Peloton hard trying to stay sane at home. Still eating on plan.

4/1: Probably 220-225 ish. Had just gotten done with Wisdom Teeth surgery and eating noting but taters and Blue Bell

4/4: Started Carnivore diet

I feel so much better and I'm going to do one more week of Carnivore. Hoping gyms will open soon so I can rebuild all the muscle I have lost these past 2 months.

Goal is 190 by the end of the year with lots of lean muscle.

Broke through the plateau I mentioned last week but then spent the past 40 hours driving to Arizona and back, so although I didn't eat anything off-plan, I think sitting still for 40 hours affected things. Oh well, back at it today since getting home at 5:14am!

I've been working on a photography project which involved driving around the country over the past two weeks to the tune of 4200 miles, so I've basically been nothing but seated for almost the entire time and not sleeping well. Driving portion of the project is finally done so should get back into my more regular routine this week and get the weight loss going again!

Have gone under 200 several times over the last couple of weeks. I have been drinking a lot also so I am floating between 199 and 202 consistently. I'm not unhappy about it considering the circumstances.

186 on Tuesday 3/3 before hopping a flight to Nashville for a conference. Wife joined and we stayed through the weekend.

One does not go to Nashville and not eat everything. 191.6 this morning but it was worth the near week of gluttony. I'm confident I can be back to mid-180s by the end of the week and continue my downward march through march


Haven't posted weight since this one.

Ah - good times, 1 week before the world shut down. The next Saturday (3/14) we had a nice steak dinner w/friends at a prime steakhouse for my wife's 47th. That was our last meal out as the world shut down on the next Monday.

Ebbs and flows since then but back on track. 180.1 this morning. Goal was 175 by 6/1 and I feel that should be easy.

The problem is as I've gotten older 180 on me looks like an old man Time to hit the weights. My clothes hang off of me. I got down to 167 from 195 in 2012 but I was lifting multiple days a week. I looked much fitter than then now.
