I've been traveling (Mexico the last week) and somewhere along the way I've ended up with terrible ****s (diarrhea) about 30 minutes after I eat anything for 5 days. Other than the annoyance and discomfort I feel fine. Since I'm in Mexico I can go to pharmacy to get basically anything I want. Anyone have a suggestion?

Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice daily for a couple of days should work, if you can get your hands on it (unless you are having bloody stool, in which case you should see a doctor)

Stay away from the rice in Mexico. Physicians along the border have told me that rice is what gets Americans when they're in Mexico.

I'm not sure if you have seen the warnings on Cipro but I would think twice about taking it along with other flouros.

Wasted it on a bye week.
