When taking BP at home, I notice a significant swing between left and right arm. For example. Left arm= 144/83 and right arm will be 128/78. Anyone have any input?

If it is persistently asymmetric on multiple readings, say by 10 mm Hg or more, you should consider seeing a cardiologist as it could represent subclavian steal syndrome, coarctation of the aorta, peripheral vascular disease, etc. there is always some variation, though, so take it multiple times with the arms in similar positions and keep a log of your readings.
