My wife's breast cancer returned and has spread to the liver and lymph nodes. She started chemo last week. As part of the supplements recommended, one was for Glutamine - to help stave off neuropathy. However, over the weekend I listened to a portion of a podcast and it discussed research showing that "Glutamine supports the proliferation and progression of cancer cells."
This was quite alarming and I did some internet sleuthing and found the research the comment was based on.

While we certainly don't want neuropathy, it seems that is a distant second to fewer growth of cancer cells. Am I reading this correctly?
FYI - this was the podcast. Super, super high level. I deserve an honorary doctorate if I actually ever finish.
