Since I use my sandbags inside I want to use something else besides sand since all of the bags eventually leak a bit. I have heard of rubber mulch but wanted to see if anyone has used something else. This bag will be around 150 pounds

My Brute Force bags don't seem to leak any. But I'm also not using any at 150#.

I forgot about this yesterday but steel shot might be an option. No clue if/where you can get it in large quantities.

One other tip I just remembered:

Buy the thickest contractor bags you can find at Home Depot or wherever.

Put those in your filler bag and fill the contractor bag with sand.

Try to find a fine pea gravel. Wash it first

Pool salt from Home Depot of Lowe's. I put a 40# bag in my pack to ruck around with. One draw back is you can't let it get wet, or it'll turn into a block.
