Prediction Run 5K. Ran the course twice.

Have been giving Fargo a lot of consideration for my first full marathon. The travel costs are the biggest obstacle.

That and the possibility of being thrown in a woodchipper

Yeah, it's not the easiest or least expensive place to get to. I have airline miles and hotel rewards that are making the trip "free" other than race entry, food, etc.

The wood chipper can't be worse than a mile 22 bonk, so I'll take my chances :-)

Congrats Noah! Is that the one in Virginia Beach? Besides your great result, what are your thoughts on that event?

Thanks! Yes that's the one. I liked it a lot. Fast and flat except for a small bridge you climb twice. Good size race but not a ton of spectators compared to a huge race like Houston. Plenty of affordable, convenient lodging. Our condo on the beach, a mile from the start was less than $100 a night.

Weather was great. Low to mid 40s. Only minor issue was wind that was a little unpredictable. But it didn't effect my pace too much.

I ran with my good friend who leaves in Virginia so we may make a tradition of it.

Thanks for the feedback. I once lived in the area and it would be fun to go back for a visit and run a race there.
